How to prepare Mobile App Launch images
1. Choose the right source
Upload actual screenshots for each supported device. Add your app icon and promotional artwork separately; resizing artwork does not create a gameplay or app screenshot.
2. Review each crop
Select the presets you need and open Adjust to position each image. Use crop to fill the frame or fit to retain the entire image. Check the safe-area guides where provided.
3. Prepare and download
Prepare the selected files to check dimensions, formats and published file limits. Download a single image or a ZIP, then review the destination preview before publishing.
Mobile App Launch image sizes included in this tool
These are the tool’s export dimensions. “Batch preset” is a practical starting point, not a platform requirement. Account eligibility and content rules can also apply; follow each source for the current specification.

Upload real screenshots separately for iPhone, iPad, Android phone, tablet, and TV. Promotional artwork cannot replace screenshots of the app in use.
Apple accepts 1–10 screenshots per device size and requires the majority to show the app in use. iPad screenshots are needed only if the app supports iPadOS.
Google Play requires at least 2 screenshots in total and supports up to 8 per device type. For promotional placements, use at least 4 phone screenshots for apps or 3 for games.
Tablet and TV assets apply only to supported devices. This kit covers iPhone, iPad, Android phone, tablet/Chromebook, and Android TV; Wear OS, automotive, XR, and other Apple platforms need separate specifications.
Store screenshots and Google Play feature graphics are exported as JPG to avoid alpha channels. The app icon for Apple is an Xcode asset included with your build, not a separate listing upload.
Preview every screenshot to ensure the UI remains accurate and readable. Store review also checks content, so matching image dimensions does not guarantee approval.
